The DS-812N is a benchtop spectrophotometer designed for accurate colour measurement of liquid samples. Using a transmission optical system and integrating sphere geometry (d/0), the instrument measures across the full visible spectrum from 360–780nm and automatically calculates a wide range of industry colour scales.
 
It is commonly used to measure colour in chemicals, solvents, pharmaceuticals, oils and food products, supporting standards such as APHA (Pt-Co/Hazen), Gardner, Saybolt, ASTM colour, EBC and ICUMSA. Results are objective and repeatable, removing the variability associated with traditional visual colour comparison.
 
With a fast measurement time of around 1.5 seconds, minimal sample requirements and a 7-inch touchscreen interface, the DS-812N provides a straightforward and reliable solution for routine liquid colour quality control.
